Jenalyn Sings – Never a Dull Day turns everyday life at De Klomp Homestead into a collection of playful English country-pop songs. These are stories about baby goats escaping at feeding time, Ace claiming the best place in bed, missing bell peppers, piles of bananas, homemade chicken curry and laundry rescued from a rainstorm that never arrived.
The songs are lighthearted, catchy and based on the kinds of small moments that make farm life unpredictable. Alongside the humour are songs about Jenalyn’s studies, planting the food forest, finding Napier grass and discovering useful plants growing just across the fence.
